Great news!

Oh cool was just talking about you guys with a couple from Redwood Falls that enjoy you guys, be sure to put this on your schedule as they were going to check out your summer schedule!! You guys keep getting gooder and gooder lol. Absolutely appreciate that your indoors volume is loud enough to enjoy on the dance floor but decent to visit with others at the tables with.. that is class act when you know you sound great with out having to drown out people enjoying everyone else visiting!! Not many bands get that and knowing you guys figured that out I can see you getting more and more gigs because it makes a difference especially for weddings and fundraisers... also keeps the crowds longer!! 🎉🎻🎉🎊🎉📵🎉🎻🎊

They are very good

Letter to the editor in today's West Central Tribune. Thanks Ken Warner! We agree... Willmar rocks!

A GREAT SUMMER FOR WILLMAR

"I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank the Willmar Lakes Area community for what is turning out to be a heck of a good summer for our community. In my opinion, the summer of 2017 has made us feel like a community again.

When I reflect back on why I feel this way it’s because of projects that come to mind like the Willmar Destination Playground, Rockin' Robbins, Feed My Starving Children and Better Together for West Central Minnesota food packing events, premiere of the movie “Warehoused,” Taste of Downtown, new commercial, health care, industrial buildings and housing being built all over the city, new school buildings, elected officials’ community engagement and leadership, community education and involvement at the community center and the list goes on and on.

It is so exciting to see that when we have an event, hundreds of people are showing up, rolling up their sleeves and working next to their neighbors, regardless of their ethnic background, economic well-being, etc., but rather because it’s the right thing to do and it’s helping our community to continue to grow and prosper.

The Willmar Lakes Area is in a good place right now and the future looks even brighter. Your support, both volunteer-wise and financially, has been outstanding and has brought our community back together.

So many of the things that have happened, started with an idea, dream, or vision and then became a reality. True collaboration and partnerships are making this happen over and over again. The spark of leadership is caused by committed local people willing to risk failure to reach for success.

Remember, imagination costs nothing, but it sure can create opportunities. We are proof of that."
