You will be seeing and hearing all of us at a venue near you SOON. We can’t wait to perform again with new songs and our old favorites with Chris, Pamela, Paul, Jay, Mike, Pat, Kreitzer and Greg. Chris Hawkey was looking to take a break from his original band project (Chris Hawkey Band) for a while, but still wanted to perform, leaving him time to do a few Chris Hawkey Band and solo performances throughout the year, too... including an original acoustic show at Pioneer Place On Fifth this Saturday, April 17th with his writing partner Alex Kiel!
John Scalia wanted to get back to fronting his old band for more than 20 years called “Dirty Word”, and will be performing with them all summer including Pioneer Place On Fifth this Friday April 16th with Matt Kirkwold in the band!
Billy Scherer will still be joining the Fabulous Armadillos for ALL Eagles Tribute and the What’s Going On: Songs From The Vietnam War Era shows as well as the seasonal theme shows!
Since 2020 is behind us, we are in for a change of weather, change of scenery and all of us getting back to LIVE MUSIC! Please help us welcome Chris at a venue near you as we look forward to seeing you all this summer. Please go to www.fabulousarmadillos.com under SHOWS for all performances.

BREAKING NEWS!
Willmar Rotary announces return of Rockin’ Robbins!!
March 24, 2021 – With eased restrictions on outdoor venues now in place, the Willmar Rotary Club is happy to announce that, as of now, ROCKIN’ ROBBINS 2021 IS OFFICIALLY ON!
The band lineup for 2021 remains the same as it was prior to the 2020 lockdown:
July 13 – Chase & Ovation (presented by Terwisscha Construction) is the World's Premier Prince Tribute Show based out of Minneapolis. The only one of its kind, Chase & Ovation has been performing the music of Prince (live in concert) for the past 11 years. This high-energy, spot-on production brings you the very best of Prince throughout his expansive career in a one of a kind arena-caliber concert experience.
July 20 – Mason Dixon Line (presented by Schwieters Chevrolet) was formed in 2018 by brothers Justin & Jason Ploof, along with seasoned musicians Micah Barrett and Tony Mazzone. The band focuses on country rock hits of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s by country music Hall-of-Famers and icons. The group has been the supporting act for some of country music’s biggest names, including Tanya Tucker, Sawyer Brown, Craig Morgan and many more!
July 27 – Wild Angels: “The Women of Rock, Pop & Country” (presented by Mills Automobile Group) features three of Minnesota’s most beloved singers – Pamela McNeill (lead vocalist of the Fabulous Armadillos), Mary Jane Alm (Minnesota Music Hall of Fame recipient), and Aimée Lee. Featuring a phenomenal 7-piece band – “The Handsome Devils” – these talented musicians perform hits by some of the greatest “female divas” the music world has ever known, including Adele, Madonna, Janis Joplin, Heart, and many more.
August 3 – The Fabulous Armadillos (presented by Lakeland Broadcasting) have been wowing Rockin’ Robbins crowds since the very first event in 2016. Featuring an 8-piece band and music that crosses all genres and age groups, they’ll round out YEAR 5 with their high energy show and jaw-dropping talent.
In 2019, the Rockin’ Robbins outdoor concert series broke all previous attendance records with crowds averaging between 3,000-5,000 each week. With continued strong support from the Willmar business community, the Willmar Rotary Club raised over $82,000 with proceeds continuing to support improvements at Robbins Island, the “Celebrate the Lights of the World” light display, and other Rotary initiatives.
“If all goes as planned, we hope to build a permanent concert stage in the near future,” said Willmar Rotary President Michelle Goltz.
Goltz added that they are continuing to work closely with their community partners and area health leaders to ensure a safe and compliant re-opening.
“Should the situation change, we will adapt as necessary.”
The Willmar Rotary Club is still looking for additional sponsors and food vendors for the 2021 concert series. Applications and payments are due by April 30th. For more information, please visit the Rockin’ Robbins website at www.rockinrobbins.com/.

After much discussion with our city, health, and public safety partners, our steering committee has made the difficult decision to cancel Rockin’ Robbins 2020.
As you can imagine, this has been a difficult decision, and although we were hopeful we might be able to offer even a partial schedule for 2020, unfortunately that isn't a possibility given the current situation with COVID-19.
Some good news... we have already been in contact with all the bands from the 2020 schedule and have confirmed that the lineup will remain the same for 2021. We will let you know as soon as we have final confirmation on the dates.
Our Willmar Rotary Club wishes all of you good health and warm thoughts of summer as we continue to push through this pandemic together.
Thank you so much for your support!

Thank you for making this difficult decision and for letting the community know. Looking forward to next year.👍
I appreciate the difficult decision you had to make, and I think it was the correct one. I'm just so sad...its going to be such a quiet summer
So sad this awesome community event is canceled for summer 2020 due to CoVid 😢
Probably a smart decision but difficult I'm sure. See you next year.
This is sad, but I understand.
Bummer we really need more things like this. Even into the fall! Even if have to charge a couple dollars. People love it as you know!!!
Hard decision but totally understand.
Oh no! We were so looking forward to it!
Darn! We could have made paint circles on the grass for each family....
