Duininck Inc. turned in the lowest bid for the Robbins Island local option sales tax project, which includes constructing a new roadway and improving the park's parking lots. The bid came in significantly under budget, resulting in discussions about adding to the project this year.- Likes: 3

Rockin' Robbins Rockin' Robbins is sharing a COVID-19 Update.
After much discussion with our city, health, and public safety partners, our steering committee has made the difficult decision to cancel Rockin’ Robbins 2020.
As you can imagine, this has been a difficult decision, and although we were hopeful we might be able to offer even a partial schedule for 2020, unfortunately that isn't a possibility given the current situation with COVID-19.
Some good news... we have already been in contact with all the bands from the 2020 schedule and have confirmed that the lineup will remain the same for 2021. We will let you know as soon as we have final confirmation on the dates.
Our Willmar Rotary Club wishes all of you good health and warm thoughts of summer as we continue to push through this pandemic together.
Thank you so much for your support! ... See MoreSee Less

Thank you for making this difficult decision and for letting the community know. Looking forward to next year.👍
I appreciate the difficult decision you had to make, and I think it was the correct one. I'm just so sad...its going to be such a quiet summer
So sad this awesome community event is canceled for summer 2020 due to CoVid 😢
Probably a smart decision but difficult I'm sure. See you next year.
This is sad, but I understand.
Bummer we really need more things like this. Even into the fall! Even if have to charge a couple dollars. People love it as you know!!!
This is so sad, and I DO NOT understand. According to all the latest statistics, this is unreasonable! We will greatly miss it!
Hard decision but totally understand.
Oh no! We were so looking forward to it!
Darn! We could have made paint circles on the grass for each family....
See you next year with Paparazzi
Look forward to next year!
So sad

Rockin' Robbins Update!
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, our bands have had to make several changes to their 2020 event calendars. As a result, we’ve had to do some juggling on our end, as well.
To accommodate everyone's schedules, we will now open our season with Mason Dixon Line on July 14th (presented by Schwieters Chevrolet), followed by Chase & Ovation’s Prince Tribute on July 21st (presented by Terwisscha Construction).
The rest of the lineup remains the same, with Mills Automotive Group presenting Wild Angels and their “Women of Rock, Pop & Country” show on July 28th, and Lakeland Broadcasting rounding out the season with the ever-popular Fabulous Armadillos on August 4th.
For more information, please visit our website at www.RockinRobbins.com.
During these scary and uncertain times, we are so grateful to be living in a community like Willmar that always steps up and comes together in times of crisis. We are proud to call this place home and we can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support. We are hopeful to see everyone back at Robbins Island very soon so we can all laugh, hug, and celebrate with friends and family once again. ... See MoreSee Less
